About the Creators
ALI NELSON
Ali studied film and communications at Santa Clara University and began her journey in the documentary film world as an assistant on the feature documentary film “The Farmer and the Chef.”
Over the last five years, she’s worked in post-production on several television shows for OWN, Shondaland, and Youtube Red.
Storytelling is her passion and she firmly believes that filmmaking has the ability to change the world by shining an honest light on our human experiences.
Katie Sponseller
Katie is a NE Ohioan with a Bachelor’s in Mass Media from The University of Akron and a Master’s in Cinema Art + Science from Columbia College Chicago.
She lives in Los Angeles, where she works as a television production coordinator. Her recent credits include “Mythic Quest,” “Kidding,” and “The Price of Free.” Independently, she works as a producer and director of narrative short films and documentaries.
She is driven by a passion for telling immersive stories that inspire others.
