Through his organization, Smart Bus Stop, Charbel’s mission is to create a safe and eco-friendly solution for public transportation in Beirut.

As an architectural designer, he works to partner with local municipalities to revitalize and rebuild public bus stops throughout the region. Often built from existing structures or reclaimed materials, the well-lit, solar-powered, designated bus stops are creating a solution to numerous safety and infrastructure challenges across the city.
